Update at 1:20 p.m.: The lights are back on for 127 PG&E customers outside of Angels Camp in Calaveras County. Their lights went out around 9:43 a.m. The outage stretched along Highway 49 from the Calaveras County Airport south of San Andreas to just north of Angels Camp. The company did not release a cause for the outage.
Original post at 11:45 a.m.: Angels Camp, CA — PG&E reports a power outage just outside of Angels Camp, stretching to the Calaveras County Airport south of San Andreas.
The utility reports that around 9:43 a.m., 127 customers stretching from the airport south along Highway 49 to Copello Drive, which is south of Highway 4, lost their electricity. PG&E says, “Our team is evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs in order to safely turn the power back on.” Currently, no cause has been determined, and the estimated restoration time is 3:15 p.m.
