Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Public Works Department wants to make sure the public is prepared for possible flooding with stormy weather expected.
As earlier reported here, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the western slope of the northern Sierra Nevada, which will remain in effect until 10 PM Friday. County public works officials say that in preparation for the upcoming storm, sand is being distributed to the following locations:
Citizens must bring their own shovels and bags, which can be purchased at most local hardware stores.
