Valley Springs, CA– Drivers near Valley Springs should prepare for temporary road closures and delays as part of the Clean California Calaveras Gateway Monument Project. Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 19, through Thursday, Nov. 21, crews will install Valley Springs Gateway Monuments at two locations, requiring one-lane traffic controls.
The construction will occur daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. along State Route 12, about 0.5 miles east of Pine Street, and on SR 12/26 east of Valley Springs. Motorists should expect delays of up to 15 minutes and are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible.
This project is part of a statewide initiative to enhance roadways and promote community pride.
