San Andreas, CA – With the holidays approaching and family and friends getting together, one way to prevent getting sick is heading to the Fall Flash Flu Clinic this weekend in Calaveras County.
County public health is offering free flu vaccines to all. As an additional incentive, the first 25 people vaccinated will receive a $45 gas card, as long as they have proof they live in the county and while supplies last. The clinic is being held on Saturday, November 23, at Calaveras County Public Health located at 700 Mountain Ranch Road, Suite C-2 in San Andreas. The hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Local health officials provided these details regarding the clinic:
◾ Free for all.
◾ Masks are welcome.
◾ Ages 10 and up.
◾ No nasal spray or high dose available.
◾ Appointments available.
◾ Walk-ins are welcome; appointments preferred.
◾ Wear loose clothing to show the upper arm.
Appointments can be made online at myturn.ca.gov or by calling 1-833-422-4255.
