Update: Power Outage Along HWY 108

Update at 10:25 a.m.: PG&E reports that the power has been restored to the 579 customers along Highway 108, between Long Barn and Pinecrest and within the Stanislaus National Forest, who lost electricity around 1 a.m. The cause was a tree branch making contact with a power line.

Original post at 6:24 a.m.: Tuolumne County, CA — PG&E is reporting nearly 600 customers are waking up to no electricity this morning in Tuolumne County.

Customers’ lights went out just before 1 a.m. for 597 customers along Highway 108, between Long Barn and Pinecrest and within the Stanislaus National Forest. The utility reports the cause is a tree that made contact with the power line. A crew is working to repair the damage. The estimated restoration time posted is 10 a.m.
