Original post at 5:44 p.m.: Jamestown, CA — The CHP is on the scene of a two-vehicle crash in the Jamestown area that is slowing motorists on this evenings commute.
The wreckage is blocking one-lane of traffic on Highway 49. The CHP reports a Toyota Prius and another sedan collided on the highway in front of the Caltrans facility just down from the Montezuma Junction turnoff onto Highway 108.
There is no word on injuries but an ambulance has been called to the scene. One lane is blocked so drivers will want to slow down and use caution or find an alternative route.
