Jamestown Battery And False Imprisonment Arrest

Jamestown, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Jamestown woman was arrested following an alleged early morning altercation.

It occurred just before 1am on Tuesday at a home on Main Street in Jamestown. The sheriff’s office reports that 25-year-old Miranda Person elbowed the female victim in the back and punched her in the face multiple times. The victim fell onto a bed and Person allegedly jumped on top, held her down, and continued to punch her. Person was booked into Tuolumne County Jail for battery and false imprisonment. The victim, a 54-year-old who Person shares the residence, was not identified.
