Traffic Alert: Updated Tuolumne County Bridges Repair Schedule

Sonora, CA – While repairs are already underway on some of the eleven bridges to be repaired in Tuolumne County, road officials are giving drivers a heads up on exactly where they can expect delays the next two months.

As reported here, the Tuolumne County Bridge Preventative Maintenance Project will run through October. The spans are along Jacksonville, Jamestown, Ferretti, Wards Ferry, Rock River, Yosemite, South Fork, Horseshoe Bend, Sprague, Clarks Fork roads and Paseo De Los Portales.

The county provided this updated schedule through July 13 detailing the locations and dates:

No exact timeframe was given for the delays. Work will take place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, unless otherwise announced, according to county road officials, who add that there will be no work on the 4th of July holiday. They advise that the schedules could change due to weather, traffic, availability of equipment and material, and related issues. Motorists are asked to be aware of all construction signs, flaggers and equipment in the cone zones.
