End Of June Weekend Events

As June ends there are several events planned in the Mother Lode. Tomorrow there is a Car wash Fundraiser to support the Tuolumne Youth Center. The event is from 9: am to 2:00 pm. The Tuolumne county youth centers’s goal is to provide opportunities for youth to have a fun, safe, and positive place to hang out year round. They have a no cost drop-in program with activities and field trips for youth ages 8-18. More details are here.

Disney’s Beauty And The Beast, the musical continues to be performed by Sierra Repertory Theatre (SRT) at the Fallon House. Details are here.

According to Jack Fussell the Parking Lot Yard Sale at the Sonora Moose Lodge has been cancelled due to a memorial being held there this weekend.

Saturday at the Mono Way Greenley Intersection at 10AM will be a Stop Family Detention Roadside Rally. Event organizers remind participants to stay hydrated, not to park at the privately owned vacant lot immediately adjacent to corner and that impeding passing foot traffic, deliberately interrupting vehicular traffic, or entering/interfering with a business to protest is strictly forbidden by federal law. Saturday evening is Don Pedro’s Fireworks Spectacular on the Water. To view the event arrival before 8:00PM is highly recommended. The event is sponsored by Don Pedro Rec Agency, Lake Don Pedro Marina and Moccasin Point Marina and costs $20 per vehicle. The event listing is here.

Twain Harte Concerts in the Pines continues at Eproson Park. There are also several Ranger programs including A Night with Saturn at Glory Hole Recreation Area in Angels Camp.
