Update: Vegetation Fire On Highway 108 Contained

Update at 5 p.m.: CAL Fire reports that the fire is contained at a half an acre in size. Further information on the blaze is below.

Original post at 4:35 p.m.: Tuolumne County, CA — Firefighters are heading to a vegetation fire on Highway 108 in Tuolumne County.

It is east of Knights Ferry. CAL Fire reports the flames are burning in grass in the center divide of the highway near the eastbound lane at the Tulloch Road intersection. We’ll bring you more details as soon as they come into the news center.
