Update: Vegetation Fire In Don Pedro Area

Update at 8:35 p.m.: The forward progress of the fire has been stopped at 12.5 acres. Evacuation orders currently remain in place for Picadero Road. All other evacuations have been reduced to warnings. Crews will remain in the area mopping up. Click here for updated evacuation orders and warnings.

Update at 8:21 p.m.: The following are the latest evacuation areas due to the Band fire.

Power has been shut off in the area as a safety precaution. Officials are asking the public to avoid the area. For non-emergency support, residents may call the Mariposa Health and Human Services Agency at (209) 432-9227. Callers should leave their name and number to receive a return call from a team member.
