Fire Near Knights Ferry

Oakdale, CA– Another fire has started, linked to the Lightning Complex fires that have started throughout the day. The newest one, the 6-6 fire, is located in the 11100 Block of Willms Road and South of Knights Ferry. It was burning in the grass with a moderate rate of spread, with a estimated size of 10-15 acres. Structures were threatened by this fire. The forward progress of the fire was stopped, crews will remain in the area mopping up.
