Public’s Help Needed To Catch Alleged Thief

Sonora, CA – Take a good look at the woman in the image box as she is wanted for allegedly shoplifting at a couple of Sonora stores.

Sonora Police released this store security video in hopes that the public may be able to help them identify the woman. At this time, investigators says she is just wanted for questioning related to alleged thefts at two stores in downtown Sonora. The public is asked to watch the entire video as a close-up of the woman can be seen towards the end of the footage. Detectives have given little information to go along with the video. No details have been revealed regarding what stores were targeted, when the thefts occurred or what items were reported stolen by merchants.

Police are asking that if anyone recognizes the woman or may have seen her shopping in the downtown area to call the Sonora Police dispatch at 209-532-8143.
