Update: Santa Will Bring Snow To The Sierra Nevada

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada above 6,500 feet, through 10 AM this morning.

Plan on difficult travel conditions with snow covered roads through the early morning hours.

Little additional snow accumulation is expected.

Gusty winds will continue over the ridges.

A Winter Storm Warning means there will be snow covered roads and limited visibilities. Travel is not recommended while the warning is in effect. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
