Update at 6:20 p.m.: PG&E is reporting an additional outage in the Sierra Village area of Tuolumne County off Highway 108. 92 customers are impacted stretching from Bonanza Drive to Gold Pan Avenue. The company relays that a crew is investigating a cause and a 9 p.m. restoration time has been given.
Additionally, 266 customers in the Phoenix Lake area have had their power restored. Further details on that outage are below.
Original post at 5 p.m.: Phoenix Lake, CA — Hundreds of PG&E customers have lost their electricity just before 5 p.m. in the Phoenix Lake area.
The utility reports the power outage stretches along Paseo De Los Portales Road impacting 266 customers. Crews are heading to the outage site to access the situation and try to determine a cause, according to the company. It is unclear if the rainy weather is a factor in this outage. An estimated repair time of 8:15 p.m. has been posted.
