Sonora, CA — Sheriff’s officials are asking the public’s help locating an alleged burglar’s crime partner.
According to Tuolumne County Sheriff’s spokesperson Sgt. Andrea Benson, deputies responded to a reported burglary of two adjoining businesses on North Sunshine Road in Sonora earlier this week.
Upon their arrival, they found damage to a mail slot near the door of the automotive shop allegedly used by 23-year-old Camron McFadden of Sonora and 37-year-old Johnny McMaster of Columbia to gain entry to the premises and make away with approximately $2,500 worth of tools and equipment.
Benson adds that McFadden was located at the Tuolumne County Probation Department the next day, admitted to the burglary, and was subsequently arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail. He faces charges of first-degree burglary, grand theft, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
As McMaster is still at large, Benson’s office has released a photo, viewable in the image box slideshow. She requests anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to call Tuolumne County Sheriff’s dispatch at 209 533-5815.
