Sonora, CA — A large number of schools are starting late today due to snow that arrived in some areas late yesterday, and icy conditions in other parts of the Mother Lode.

Temperatures in Sonora for the remainder of the week are anticipated to be in the low to upper-fifties. The next chance for precipitation is early next week, but by mid next week, there should be clear conditions again, and temperatures in the low to mid-sixties.
