Update at 8:15am: The Tuolumne County Roads Department reports that Old Priest Grade is now closed due to debris on the roadway. Crews hope to have the road cleaned up and reopened by 11 o’clock this morning.

There is one notable traffic hazard, as the CHP reports there is a rock and mudslide on Murphys Grade Road near Fairview Park Court. The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office has requested that county roads department officials respond to clean up the debris and assess any potential damage.
The roads are slick in some areas, so allow extra time when traveling to your destination today.
Also of note, following the rain and high country snow overnight, PG&E reports that thankfully there are no power outages this morning in either Tuolumne or Calaveras counties.
