Trash And Recycle Delays

Tuolumne County, CA – Are you still waiting for your trash or recyclables to get picked up? Waste Management says Monday’s bad road conditions forced the cancellation o f pickups. In some areas of Twain Harte trash pickups have been delayed a day. In Mi-Wuk recyclables are behind a day.

Waste Management District Manager Tom Teach says, “If people in Twain Harte would leave their garbage cans out and Mi-Wuk their recyclables we will get them on Wednesday weather permitting.”

Also, as reported in an earlier article, all Tuolumne County pickups are delayed a day this week due to New Year’s Day falling on a week day. Sonora’s garbage is normally picked up on Friday so instead it will be picked up on Saturday this week.
