A small storm system is expected to move through northern California this weekend.
Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is expected in the central valley from Saturday night through Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service, snow levels will range from 3000 through 4000 feet.
Up to three inches of snow accumulation is likely in the Sierra Nevada above 6000 feet.
