Groveland, CA — There is a solo car accident that has brought down live power lines on Ferretti Road in Groveland near highway 120. The CHP reports a car hit the pole bringing it down on the 20,000 block of Ferretti Road. There is no word on any injuries at this time. The roadway is blocked so motorists will want to use caution in the area.

Update 3:31 p.m.: The CHP reports no injuries. PG & E is on the way to the scene. The CHP says that section of Ferretti Road will be closed until the power lines are fixed.
Update 5 p.m.: The CHP reports Ferretti Road will be closed from the 20,000 block to Pine Mountain Drive until around 3 a.m. so PG & E crews can work on fixing the pole and power lines.
