Sonora, CA — The cleanup continues in the Mother Lode, and some PG&E customers are without electricity.
“Mother Nature certainly has packed quite a punch with this very low snow event,” says Nicole Liebelt, PGE Spokesperson. “We have just about 180 customers in Calaveras County without power, and just over 200 in Tuolumne County.”
There is currently not an estimated full restoration time. Most of the Tuolumne County outages are in the greater Sonora area. In Calaveras County, Sheep Ranch has 120, and Murphys has 60. Liebelt says crews are working as quickly as possible to restore the remaining outages. There have been some access issues because of road closures or debris.
To report an outage, or try to receive information on a specific neighborhood, call 1-800-PGE-5000.
(A special thanks to Debbie Shoemaker, Alan Caron, Jeff Wittman and Ashley Hampton for e-mailing the snow photos)
