Murphys, CA – Thousands lined the streets of Murphys just to see if a little luck of the Irish would rub off on them. The crowd cheered when the main attraction a leprechaun and his pot of gold rolled down the street. There were plenty of floats, bands, cars, and even horses with green hoofs. At the end of the parade a sign of spring as the Easter Bunny greeted the kids with candy eggs. The celebration didn’t end with the parade either after the marching was done crafts, jeweler and food stands took over the streets to keep the Murphys Irish Day party going.
