The entire family will be able to “Celebrate Spring” at the 29th annual ICES’ Children’s Fair this Saturday, from 10 AM through 2 PM, at the Mother Lode’s Fairgrounds in Sonora.
Evelyn Thompson, ICES Agency Executive Director, was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
The free event will take place in the Sierra Building at the Fairgrounds.
Kids can create unique art projects, jump and roll through an obstacle course, have their face painted, receive free giveaways and other prizes, and much more!
Parents will love the variety of health & safety information as well as learn about community resources for families.
A bean and cheese burrito and fruit lunch will be available for just $2 each.
ICES means Infant/Child Enrichment Services. ICES is a nonprofit agency that helps families find and pay for child care in Tuolumne and Mariposa counties.
The Sonora-based nonprofit also recruits new providers, helps with licensing, and provides training for caregivers and parents on everything from child development to home safety.
