San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County Sheriff’s Officials will be getting some help to field all the calls coming into the tip line regarding the Leila Fowler homicide.
The Stanislaus area Crime Stoppers has offered to help collect and filter tips. Sheriff’s Officials wanted to get the word out about the tip line help so the public will not be alarmed if they call and hear “Stanislaus Crime Stoppers”.
You can still call the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office’s tip line at 209-754-6030, but it will be automatically rolled over to the Stanislaus Crime Stoppers hotline.
The Crime Stoppers hotline is 1-866-389-7638 (toll free), 24 hours a day. Callers can remain anonymous. You can also text tips to 274637, include TIP704 in your message, or click here for online access.
