Sonora, CA — You may hear some explosions near the Highway 108 bypass construction this afternoon.
Caltrans reports that crews will be blasting out rocks between 2-4pm. Highway 108 will remain open during the work. Residents hearing the blasts should not be alarmed. Construction on the bypass is about a year ahead of schedule and could be completed around October.
