Sonora, CA — The T.U.D. Board of Directors will discuss connection fees and a regional partnership.
At Tuesday’s meeting the Board will discuss the idea of whether it would be beneficial to temporarily reduce connection fees paid by new customers. Board documents show that it is at the recommendation of Board President Michael Sarno, designed to be a way to generate new customers and revenue by helping the local economy.
The Board will also review the project list of the multi county Integrated Regional Water Management Plan. Click here to read an earlier story about the partnership and some of the various projects that have been proposed.
