Angels Camp, CA — The CHP reports a GMC Yukon truck pulling a horse trailer has crashed and is on its side on Highway 49 between Cosgrove Road and San Domingo Creek Bridge North of Angels Camp. Horses were in the trailer and crews are working to free them. We’ll have more details when they become available.
Update 4:40p.m.: The CHP reports the horses have been freed from the trailer. Traffic is backed up on Highway 49.
Update 5p.m.: The CHP says traffic is moving now.
