Sonora, CA – It will be stop and go traffic on a stretch of Parrott’s Ferry Road on Wednesday in Tuolumne County. Crews will be directional drilling on Parrott’s Ferry Road between Columbia Street and Brewster Drive in Columbia. Motorists can expect delays of 5-10 minutes and slow moving travel in that area.
The work is part of the Central Valley Independent Next (CVIN) Broadband infrastructure installation. The 18-county CVIN project was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009. It is designed to increase the broadband infrastructure of the region.
