Yosemite, CA — A Sacramento man was swept over the Nevada Fall in Yosemite National Park Saturday.
Park officials report that 19-year-old Aleh Kalman was visiting the park with a Church group when the accident happened. He was witnessed swimming above the Nevada Fall, approximately 150 ft. from the precipice, and got swept away by the current.
The accident happened at around 2:45pm. Crews immediately started searching the area by air and ground. A full-fledged search continues today.
