Jamestown, CA — We now have the name of the woman involved in a two car crash on Highway 108 and Bell Mooney Road near Jamestown that backed up traffic for miles yesterday afternoon. The CHP reports 46 year-old Karen L. Dickey of Jamestown was driving a 2004 Chrysler Sebring when she crossed over the yellow center line and side swiped one Tuolumne County dump truck and hit another one head on. The woman was pinned in the car and had to be cut from the vehicle.
The CHP says Dickey was arrested on DUI charges at the scene, but they are waiting for toxicology reports to confirm. Dickey is in intensive care at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto with major injuries to her left arm. Highway 108 was completely shut down for nearly two hours.
A special thank you to Mark Banks for sending in us this picture of the crash.
