Tuolumne County, CA – There will be stop and go traffic in some areas of Tuolumne County for your afternoon commute. In Sonora, crews will be rock saw trenching on Sanguinetti Road, between Mono Way and Greenley Road. (Click here for map)
In Jamestown, crews will be directional boring on O’Byrnes Ferry Road at Peoria Flat Road off of Highway 108. (Click here for map) They will also be working in Columbia at Broadway Street between State and Jackson Streets. (Click here for map)
Motorists can expect 5 to 10 minute delays in those areas. The work is part of the Central Valley Independent Next (CVIN) Broadband infrastructure installation. The 18-county CVIN project was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009. It is designed to increase the broadband infrastructure of the region.
