Several Ways To Celebrate Independence Day

Sonora, CA — There will be numerous 4th of July activities taking place today in the Mother Lode.

A Family 4th of July Celebration begins at 10 o’clock at the Christian Heights Church in Sonora, the Columbia Glorious 4th of July Parade and Celebration starts at 10:30, Twain Harte’s activities start at 9 o’clock in downtown, Railtown is holding events starting at 11, there is a barbeque and Calaveras Community Band Concert at 3:30 at Turner Park in San Andreas, and tonight at 9:30 is the fireworks show over Lake Don Pedro.
