Valley Springs Fire Contained

Sonora, CA — Officials have now contained a vegetation fire in Valley Springs.

It was 3-4 acres in size. No homes or structures were damaged. It was near the intersection of Wild Wolf Court and Meadow Oaks Drive. Air resources have now returned back to Columbia. It is not immediately known what started the fire. Click here to view a map of the area. Mop-up operations will continue into the afternoon hours.
