Tuolumne County, CA — Several vehicles and mailboxes were damaged after vandals hit two areas early Wednesday morning. They targeted cars in Jamestown. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Officials say nearly 6 vehicles along Main Street, Jim Brady Rd and 7th Street had at least one tire slashed. They say a person reported hearing noises around 2am. Deputies were dispatched to the scene, but saw no vandalism at that time.
Also, between midnight and 3am vandals struck in the Curtis Creek Ranch, Willow Springs, and on Draper Mine Road. Sheriff’s Officials say nearly 17 mail boxes were hit with baseball bats. The damage to the vehicles and mailboxes is estimated at several hundred dollars. The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information on the vandalisms to call 533-5815.
