Ringen Selected For T.U.D. Board

Sonora, CA — The T.U.D. Board of Directors selected a replacement for Joe Day last night.

After spending roughly three hours hearing from the 12 candidates, Ron Ringen of Sonora was voted onto the Board. Ringen had support of three board members, while Director Ralph Retherford said he supported Michael Sarno. Each candidate was allowed up to 10 minutes to speak before the Board took a vote.

Ringen will fill the seat through December, as it will be up for election this coming November.
