Coulterville, CA — Due to urgent repair work required on Highway 49 in Mariposa County, a stretch of the road will be closed for 12 days.
The full closure will begin at 7am on Monday, April 29, and run through Friday, May 10. The area stretches from Bear Valley Road to Highway 132 in Coulterville. A detour will be in place, and travelers should expect a one hour delay. The project includes replacing three culverts, reconstructing the road above them, and then repaving and striping. The highway and slopes were damaged during the winter weather last month.
