Junction Shopping Center Adding Shoe Retailer

Sonora, CA — Another national retail store has plans to open in the Junction Shopping Center in Sonora.

Tuolumne County Economic Development Authority Director Larry Cope says that Famous Footwear will open a 6,000 sq. ft. store this summer.

“Famous footwear will add to the shopping variety for local residents, and bring more residents in from surrounding counties,” says Cope. “Hopefully it will increase the sales tax benefit to both the city and the county.”

Famous Footwear has 1,100 stores nationwide. It will be located in a space between Kohl’s and TJ Maxx.
