Swastika Painted At Jamestown Elementary

Jamestown, CA — On Monday, February 6th, a report of vandalism was filed by Jamestown Elementary. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Jeff Wilson says, “Sometime during the previous night unknown suspects entered the campus and spray painted a swastika on the wall.” The paint was removed the next day.

According to Sgt. Wilson the school possibly has surveillance video of the incident and the case is being investigated. In addition Sgt. Wilson noted two additional instances of “random spray painting” were reported Wednesday in the general area of Petticoat Junction in Jamestown. They were not swastikas and it is unknown if the incidents are related.
