San Andreas, CA– In Calaveras County three Board of Supervisor seats and the District Attorney position are up for election in June.
Calaveras Election Coordinator Rebecca Andahl says only one person has officially submitted all the paperwork but several have taken out papers.
For Calaveras County Board of Supervisors, 1st District , representing the San Andreas and Valley Springs area, Clifford William Edson, Joseph Kelly, and incumbent Gary Tofanelli.
For 2nd District: Thomas Patrick Swartz, Bryce Randall, Anita Paque, Michael R. Dellorto, and Chris Wright. The incumbent, Steve Willensky, announced last year he will not seek re-election. District 2 includes Mokelumne Hill, West Point, and Mountain Ranch.
For 4th District, representing Angels Camp and Copperopolis, former Supervisor Russell L. Thomas and incumbent Thomas Tryon have taken out papers. For District Attorney David Keith Singer and Barbara Yook have submitted.
Incumbents and others have till March 9th to file for candidacy unless the incumbent doesn’t file then the deadline for non-incumbents is extended till March 14th.
