Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Planning Commission will weigh in on some housing projects tonight.

A nine lot housing subdivision is proposed at 18333 Apple Colony Road. The lots would be spread over a 22.5 acre piece of property, of which seven acres would be designated as Open Space. The land is currently zoned for agricultural use. The applicant is Darlene Mae Stieler.

There is a proposal to change a two acre piece of property from residential zoning to commercial, located at 14381 Edgemont Acres Road. The Commission will also vote on rezoning a 10 acre piece of property at 23710 Confidence South Fork Road from agricultural to residential, allowing for three lots.
