Several days of wet weather will affect northern California next week.
An initial frontal system on Sunday will only bring light precipitation to the area.
A stronger system is expected Monday night or Tuesday. More storm systems will be on tap later in the week.
The National Weather Service anticipates several feet of snow accumulation over the higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada from Monday through Friday.
