Sonora, CA — The list of candidates that will appear on the ballot in Tuolumne County this June has been finalized.
The filing period for most races closed last Friday, but the District Five Tuolumne County Supervisor contest was extended to yesterday because the incumbent (Dick Pland) is not running.
Patricia Adams was the only candidate that expressed an interest in running for District Five that did not turn in the final paperwork. The candidates for District Five will be Michael Macomber, Jim O’Neil, Karl Rodefer, Domenic Torchia and Jason Frye.
The District One Tuolumne County Supervisor candidates are Liz Bass, Sherri Brennan, Randy Cofer, Jim Garaventa and Jim Hildreth.
In District Four, the candidates are John Gray and Nolan Matter.
The five candidates hoping to fill one of three City Council seats are Bill Canning, Dave Shepard, Ron Stearn, Connie Williams and David Axelrod.
One Superior Court Judge race will pair Eleanor Provost up against Gregory Oliver, and the second is race between Donald Segerstrom and Alex Aretakis.
