This Saturday in the Mother Lode there are many events planned.
This weekend is the Who Let the Dogs Out Parade in Twain Harte. The event begins at 10AM in Downtown Twain Harte. Details are here.
From 10AM to 4PM the Sonora Branch of the Tuolumne County Library is hosting the “Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale” There is also an Applebee’s Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser.
Columbia Airport will be offering free airplane rides for kids age 8-17 as an introduction to aviation. The event is sponsored by EAA and Tuolumne County pilots, details are here. Calaveras Airport is hosting an Open House and Fly-In as well, details are here.
Also in Calaveras as Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys enjoy A Taste of Calaveras. Over in San Andreas the Calaveras Master Gardeners are hosting an Open Garden & Plant Sale.
At Standard park in Tuolumne the family event called “Touch A Truck” is scheduled for this Saturday as detailed here.
In the Junction the Tuolumne Sheriffs CSU is hosting the Tuolumne County Take Back Days offering a confidential way to rid your unused or expired medications.
There are several concerts planned this weekend (on both Saturday and Sunday), Columbia College Community Chorus is hosting their 2019 Spring Concerts at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, and the Mountain Melody Women’s Chorus Spring Concerts is performing in Mountain Ranch.
Sunday events include Relay For Life of Tuolumne County Junction Yard Sale. Downtown Sonora has purple ribbons with Relay For Life information, the event is May 18th and 19th and listed in our event calendar here.
Sunday is another pet event, the “Phantom of the Pawpera” Champagne Brunch as detailed here will be held at the Sonora Elks Lodge.
Sunday you can join the 5th Annual Spring Tea and fashion Show a the Church of the 49ers in Columbia.
