Sonora, CA — An arrest has been made regarding the stolen money and other items taken from Sonora High School.
24-year-old Jakob McMurray, a former employee, was booked into Tuolumne County Jail yesterday. The District Attorney’s Office has filed a charge of felony grand theft. The Police Department reports that $3,700 in cash was taken, as was over $6,000 worth of other items, like digital cameras and shop equipment.
