Wilseyville, CA — Ahead of the summer fire season, CAL Fire is planning to do a prescribed burn four miles north of Wilseyville.
The fire will be ignited on the Winton Vegetation Management Program site along Bailey Ridge Road. CAL Fire reports that it will commence at 10am this Saturday and conclude at around 5pm on Sunday. Smoke will be visible in the area, and there will be a variety of fire engines, crews and cooperating agencies. The goal is to remove fire fuels in that area.
