Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne Utilities District plans to vote Tuesday whether to extend its contract with General Manager Pete Kampa through 2017.
T.U.D. documents show that Kampa is recommending that his yearly salary be reduced by $4,086, due to the down economy. His pay would drop to an even $150K a year. He would also waive administrative leave benefits for two years, totaling $7,111 a year. His yearly merit increase would be eliminated permanently. The T.U.D. board has awarded a 1.5-4% merit increase annually, based on a positive performance evaluation.
In addition, the Board will elect a new Vice President following the resignation of Ralph Retherford. Tuesday’s meeting begins at 7pm in the T.U.D. meeting room. T.U.D. streams its meetings live on web. Click here for details.
