Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) wastewater department will be doing necessary sewer line repairs off of Phoenix Lake Road tomorrow, April 24th. Please be aware there will traffic controls in the area, five minute delays can be expected, with flaggers directing traffic from the hours of 8am to 2:30pm, between Lori Lane to Ridgewood on Phoenix Lake Road.
Drive with caution and obey the traffic control signs. Customer Services Supervisor, Lisa Westbrook, says, “Thank you for your patience as we work in this area.”
The Tuolumne Utilities District currently serves over 44,000 Tuolumne County residents. The District currently owns and operates 14 water treatment plants, 71 treated water storage tanks, two wastewater treatment plants, approximately 57 miles of open ditches, 157 miles of sewer collection pipe and 330 miles of treated water pipeline.
