Howell Is Queen

Sonora, CA – There’s a new Mother Lode Roundup Queen.

Taylor Howell was the big winner Sunday night at the coronation ceremony at the Sonora Elks Lodge. Howell is a junior at Sonora High School and the daughter of Gary and Krista Howell. Layne Olsen was the first runner-up, followed by Trisha Berg.

It kicks off a busy week of roundup activities. The Band Review is this coming Wednesday at 6pm at Sonora High School. The Calcutta is Thursday at 6pm at the Sheriff’s Posse Grounds in Jamestown.
