Put Your Money Where The Boot Is

Sonora, CA — If you saw a bunch of firefighters at the Junction Shopping Center Friday, don’t worry they weren’t trying to put out flames.  Instead they were asking for you to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

Using rubber boots, Firefighters from CAL FIRE, Tuolumne County Fire Department, and Columbia College raised more than $8,500 dollars for the charity.

It’s all a part of the  “Make A Muscle ” fundraiser.  Since 2008, CAL FIRE and CDF Firefighters L2881 have raised $1.3 million dollars for MDA.
